Privacy Policy
Effective date: September 6, 2026
BidBoomer is a product operated by Beagle Ridge LLC ("Beagle Ridge," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy (effective August 12, 2026) explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use BidBoomer (the "Service"), including our website at bidboomer.com.
Related terms of use are in our Terms of Service (effective September 6, 2026). Questions: [email protected].
1. Who this policy covers
- Contractors and their team members who create BidBoomer accounts.
- Homeowners / customers who receive quotes, emails, or SMS through BidBoomer.
- Visitors to our public website and support forms.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use BidBoomer, we may collect:
- Account information — name, email, password, phone, company name, and related profile settings.
- Customer / quote information — homeowner name, email, phone, address, job details, quote amounts, deposit settings, notes, and status history.
- Messaging information — content and metadata of emails and SMS we send or receive for quote delivery, follow-ups, notifications, billing notices, STOP/HELP handling, and support.
- Payment information — subscription and deposit payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on BidBoomer servers.
- Usage and technical data — logs, device/browser data, IP address, and similar diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide, operate, and improve BidBoomer (quotes, follow-ups, deposits, billing, support).
- Send transactional communications you or your contractor requested (email and/or SMS).
- Enforce do-not-contact and carrier opt-out (e.g. STOP) preferences.
- Protect against abuse, fraud, and security incidents.
- Comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
4. Text messaging (SMS) privacy
BidBoomer may send transactional or informational SMS only concerning a quote, intake request, quote-related status, payment instructions, or related account activity. BidBoomer does not send promotional, marketing, advertising, or telemarketing SMS through the standard Service. Admin tools and current third-party integrations do not provide promotional SMS campaign features. BidBoomer transmits quote-related SMS for the contractor and does not independently send those messages for its own purposes. The absence of promotional or marketing content does not, by itself, establish that consent is unnecessary or that any message complies with applicable law. Message content typically includes quote-ready notices, quote updates, reminders to view an outstanding quote, contractor notification alerts (when enabled), and billing notices to account owners when payment fails.
Message frequency: For a single quote, the standard automated workflow may send one initial SMS plus up to three reminder messages, spaced at least forty-eight hours apart by default (no more than four quote-related messages per quote). Additional transactional messages may be sent only as reasonably necessary for an updated quote, a response the recipient requests, or another purpose covered by the recipient's consent. A recipient with one open quote will receive fewer than ten quote-related SMS messages during any calendar month under that automated workflow (excluding resends, acknowledgments, and HELP/STOP confirmations). A recipient with multiple open quotes may receive the standard cadence for each quote. These are maximums for the standard automated workflow, not a promise of delivery. Contractors who enable SMS alerts may receive additional account notifications based on customer activity. Those account-owner alerts do not consume the customer SMS allowance.
Message and data rates may apply. Carrier fees are your responsibility under your wireless plan.
Help: Reply HELP to an SMS from BidBoomer for help information, or email [email protected].
Opt out: Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to opt out of further SMS from BidBoomer to that number. BidBoomer applies a recognized opt-out across all BidBoomer phone-number records and accounts for that number, including duplicate contractor customer records and future quotes, subject only to legally permitted exceptions such as a one-time confirmation. You can opt back in later by contacting the contractor or BidBoomer support and providing fresh consent where applicable.
Mobile information is not shared: We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. We do not use mobile numbers for unrelated advertising. We use mobile numbers only to operate BidBoomer messaging and related service functions (including delivery through our SMS provider), enforce opt-outs, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Consent to receive quote-related texts is typically collected by the contractor, who must identify the contractor as the sender. See our Terms of Service for SMS terms and the consent script.
5. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service, including with:
- Service providers / subprocessors in these categories: hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, and payment processing, under contracts with obligations appropriate to the services they perform and applicable law that limit use to providing services to us. On request, we will identify current subprocessors in those categories.
- Contractors who use BidBoomer — homeowners interact with a specific contractor's quotes and branding; that contractor can see customer/quote data for their Business.
- Legal and safety — when required by law or to protect rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to appropriate protections.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service, meet legal/accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When a Business cancels or the Service terminates, we delete or anonymize Business personal data we hold. The applicable post-cancel retention period for Business personal data generally is ninety (90) days, after which we delete or anonymize that data. We do not use a general platform setting to extend that period for all Business data. We may retain only the following specified categories for longer, and only as needed: (a) records required by law or a legal hold; (b) accounting or tax records; (c) records needed to resolve a pending dispute, chargeback, or security incident; and (d) SMS, consent, opt-out, and related compliance records. In each such case retention will not exceed 3,650 days or the period required by applicable law, whichever is longer. Deletion does not reach copies a contractor exported from the Service. Residual backup copies may persist until backup rotation or expiry and are then deleted or overwritten. Active Business owners may export their workspace data from the product.
7. Security and data processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We keep personal data confidential and do not sell it or use it for unrelated advertising. We do not use personal data to train generalized models without authorization.
Contractors act as the controller (or equivalent) of homeowner personal data they collect and enter into BidBoomer. Beagle Ridge processes that data to provide the Service on the contractor's instructions and as described in this Policy and the Terms of Service. Contractors warrant that they have the right to provide customer information and a lawful basis to instruct us to contact those people.
If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal data we hold that requires notice, we will notify affected contractor account owners without undue delay and, where feasible, within seventy-two (72) hours after we confirm the incident. Contractors remain responsible for any notices they must give homeowners under applicable law.
We will provide reasonable assistance with legally required data-subject requests relating to personal data we process for a Business.
We use subprocessors in the hosting, email delivery, SMS delivery, and payment-processing categories under contracts with obligations appropriate to the services they perform and applicable law that limit use to providing services to us. See How we share information.
8. Your choices
- Contractors can update profile and notification settings in the app.
- Homeowners can decline quotes and request do-not-contact where the product provides that option, and can reply STOP to SMS. Before a recipient may submit intake, accept or decline a quote, or pay a deposit, the Service presents Part II and the Privacy Policy and requires the applicable unchecked affirmative acceptance. Accept and deposit also require a separate unchecked checkbox accepting the contractor's quote; payment alone is not the assent mechanism. The Service will not complete those actions until the required acceptance(s) are recorded.
- Contact [email protected] for privacy questions or requests we support under applicable law.
9. Children
BidBoomer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. For material changes that affect contractor accounts, we will provide advance notice to the Business owner email on file (and/or in-app) where reasonably practicable. Homeowners should review this page and the links on quote and intake pages before submitting information or paying a deposit.
